A Modest Princess

Sometimes #ModestRefashions are easy! This Maxi dress is immodest and in 3 simple steps was turned into an awesome & modest Maxi skirt.

We decided to keep maximum length and cut off the top right at the armpit seam.

We then folded down a nice wide waistband, and pinned in place.

The final step was to simply sew the waistband. The dress was made of very elastic fabric and thus no elastic was needed, it just held itself up as a skirt! I said it was easy.
