A sister missionary wardrobe requires accessories which can quickly add up in cost. We got a few awesome print shirts for 25cents at the Thrift Outlet in colors that matched with our outfits and refashioned them into awesome infinity scarves with matching hair bows!
First we seam ripped all the seams on the shirt, this particular one had several panels and we wanted to make an infinity scarf so we needed all the fabric we could get.
We lay out all the pieces to create a rectangle.
Ironed the creases out.
We then sewed the pieces together, trimmed off any excess and ironed the seams open.
Once all the pieces were assembled into a long strip, we trimmed the edges and sewed a small hem.
We now had a finished rectangle, which we sewed closed to make an infinity scarf.
We had enough scraps from trimming to make a super cute bow to match!
So, what do you think ?
