Cleavage fix: Using the same lace purchased for the added sleeves the original idea was to add a scallop to each side of the lower portion of the v-neck but when I tried to figure out how to cut the lace this way I couldn’t so I ended up placing a smaller scallop right inside the v-neck and basting into place.
I wasn’t sure if Emily would like this because she had expressed that she still wanted the ‘V’ shaped neckline, but she did like it and agreed it needed to go a little higher as it still showed too much cleavage.
So I pinned the lace a little higher.
And used invisible thread to secure it into place. After a 2nd fitting we had to make a few adjustments so that it didn’t droop, I just sewed it a little tighter across and it looked great.
A great wedding picture of ring exchange, with cleavage coverage!
So, what do you think ?
